- Collection library: Four original collections (48 phrases) can be switched on or off; progress per stage is shown for each. [included-working]
- CSV and JSON import: Learners import a collection from a file or pasted text with row-level validation, warnings and a preview; files are read on the device. [included-working]
- Study sessions: Sessions mix due learning cards, due reviews and new phrases with first-look, recall and gap-fill prompts and a summary. [included-working]
- Deterministic spaced repetition: An SM-2-derived schedule with learning steps, four grades, ease limits and no randomness; every grade button shows the resulting interval. [included-working]
- Schedule explanations: Each phrase page explains its next date from the last answer, lists its review timeline, and the rules page renders from the same config. [included-working]
- History and forecast: Due-now and later-today counts, a seven-day forecast, a 30-day remembered rate and a day-by-day answer history. [included-working]
- On-device persistence and restore: Progress is saved locally with schema versioning; an interrupted session resumes after the app is closed, and damaged data opens a recovery screen. [included-working]
- Backup export and restore: Progress exports to a JSON file through the system share sheet and restores from a picked file after validation. [included-working]
- Daily reminder: A local notification scheduled on the device at a chosen time; a denied permission is explained with a link to system settings. [included-working]
- Hear it: Reads a phrase aloud with the device's own text-to-speech voice; nothing is recorded or graded. [included-working]
- Light/dark themes and large text: Separately designed light and dark palettes, system font scaling with a 2x2 grade layout, screen-reader labels and announcements, reduced-motion support. [included-working]
- Labelled demo history: Optional generated three-week history produced by the real scheduler, labelled in the UI and removable in Settings. [included-working]
- Rebrand tooling: One brand file drives app name, identifiers, deep-link scheme and colours; a script regenerates icons and splash images. [included-working]
